Lonnie Woods III is a New York based photographer who first fell in love with photography as a teenager. Growing up in Baltimore, MD, Lonnie honed his simple yet creative aesthetic while admiring the works of esteemed artists such as Sandy Skoglund and Andy Warhol. Through their masterpieces he learned that art is as much of a personal experience as it is public. Lonnie earned his Bachelor of Science in Fine Art Photography from Towson University and received a Master of Arts in Higher Education Administration from New York University.

Lonnie allows the honesty of his frames to convey a tone that is charming and perceptive. Drawing from fashion, culture, and historic influences, his affinity for aperture speeds and willingness to capture that moment of happenstance between art and life is what sets him apart.
