WHY GIVE?

 Founded in 1904, Takoma Academy has committed itself to preparing students for the soon Coming of Christ and to excel on earth as we await His Coming.  That this tradition is alive and well is demonstrated that over 80% of the recent graduating class did early admissions to 200 colleges and universities in the United States.  Over 90% were accepted into colleges and universities and received $5.5 million in scholarship offers- a new school record.  

 

Also the school was recently admitted into the prestigious A Better Chance network of schools, this network comprises the best private and public college preparatory high schools in the United States. Our students commitment to uplifting humanity has been demonstrated thru their international outreach in Central America, South America, and Africa.  Locally thru community service days the TA presence has helped to feed the homeless, provide for special needs adult and youth, and joined the efforts to cleanup trash on our  beaches and roads.
